In the Hong Kong Pacific Place Shopping Centre we designed a large 80 m² space into a temporary pop-up store for fashion designer Christian Wijnants.
A new bent ceiling-high loam wall functions as the place’s background. The existing wooden floor is painted grey and the ceiling containing the technical installations is painted black. Eight pillars in the room display parts of the collection. These pillars consist of geometrical volumes in white impregnated wood. The lower copper objects serve both as a reception desk and as displays for the collection’s accessories.
